The Bible records Pontius Pilate as the man who eventually handed Jesus over to be crucified. But many scholars didn’t believe he ever existed. They claimed the only place that mentioned Pilate was the Bible. .
You know, sadly, many scholars automatically discount the Bible. They don’t want to believe that God says who he says he is. And they refuse to believe what he said he did. .
Because if that’s all true, then they’re sinners … and need to repent and trust in Christ. .
But, as always, those who said the Bible was wrong were the ones who were wrong! A dedication stone confirmed that Pilate was indeed a real person. .
People can claim what they want, but they’ll never disprove the Bible. .
