Transcript

I once asked Bill Nye, the Science Guy, how we know what’s right, and what’s wrong. He told me it’s based on “the consensus of the tribe.”

You see, Bill Nye’s an atheist. So the foundation for his thinking is that man determines “truth.” He’s left with arbitrary human opinion.

Now, what happens if “the tribe” thinks types like him are dangerous? Would it be right to kill those we don’t like, just because the majority thinks it’s OK? Of course not! But why?

Well, without an absolute foundation for morality, there is no reason why!

But there is an ultimate foundation for morality—God’s Word. It tells us what’s right and wrong, as determined by our Creator.
