This is Ken Ham, CEO of the ministry that built a full-size Noah’s Ark south of Cincinnati.
Does this story sound familiar? “A man builds a boat and animals are saved on it.” Now, it probably does—but what I just summarized is called Manu’s Flood, a legend from India.
You see, cultures all around the world have distorted versions of the true account of the flood, found in the Bible. They mention a man, a boat, animals, a flood, even a rainbow afterward!
So how did these different cultures get such similar stories?
Well, the Bible says there really was a worldwide flood. And, afterward, people spread over the earth. They took their memory of the flood with them but, eventually, the truth was distorted. But their stories began with the memory of the event.
