On cave walls across Europe, you’ll find paintings of animals accompanied by dots and dashes—what could it mean?
Well, a group of researchers believe they know! The markings can be broken down into periods which coincide with the cycles of the moon. That’s right—it seems these so-called “cave men” left behind a lunar calendar! Perhaps it was used to track the migration of animals—good information for people who survived by hunting!
This find reminded me that, once again, science confirms what we’d expect starting with God’s Word. Our ancestors weren’t dumb brutes. They were fully human, made in God’s image, just as we are!
