This week we’re celebrating “Ark week” in honor of the seven-year anniversary of the Ark Encounter themed attraction. Now, if you visit our life-sized Noah’s Ark, you’ll see that we feature a variety of sculpted dinosaurs.

Yes, that’s right—dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark!

Dinosaurs were land animals, so they were created on day six of creation week. And because they were land animals, their kinds were on the ark. And don’t worry about them being too big—even the biggest ones hatched from small eggs! God likely sent young adults to the ark, not older, larger ones.

The dinosaurs not on the Ark died in the flood and became the fossils we find today!
