This is Ken Ham, inviting you to encounter God’s Word at the Ark Encounter.

Transcript

The New Testament is full of warnings to the church to beware of false teachers and their deceptive teachings. These people twist Scripture to make it say what they want it to say. Listening to these kinds of people is dangerous because it leads us away from God. So how can we recognize false teaching?

Well, just because a particular teaching is popular doesn’t make it right. False teaching is usually more popular than the hard truth!

The only way to combat false teaching is by knowing the truth! We need to study the Word of God so we can recognize false teaching when we hear it.

Our ultimate authority—it must always be God’s Word.
