Transcript

One of the most famous Australian creatures is the koala, an animal that lives on toxic eucalyptus leaves. Koalas can eat them, when most other animals can’t, because they can break down the toxin.

There are over seven hundred eucalyptus species, koalas only eat from a small number of them—and an individual koala will only eat from just a few of those. Some leaves are too poisonous, even for a koala, but their noses are sensitive enough to tell which leaves are fine.

In God’s perfect creation, toxic trees didn’t exist. But God designed koalas with the ability to adapt their diet after the fall.

Koalas should remind us of God’s great wisdom.
