Ark Encounter Expansion
Forecast Budget: $15,500,000
These expansion initiatives are to impact and bring more guests to the evangelistic Ark Encounter. These include the addition of two major exhibits and expansion/infrastructure activities in preparation for future, family-friendly attractions at the Ark catering to younger audiences. The two new major exhibits will feature artifacts on loan from the Israel Antiquities Authority. This expansion includes:
- Megiddo Mosaic
This nearly 1,800-year-old mosaic floor, excavated from a prison in Megiddo, Israel, is the oldest archaeological find (outside of manuscripts) proclaiming that Jesus is God. Combined with other artifacts, videos, and life-size figures to be displayed in a new traveling exhibit area in the Answers Center, this highly popular exhibit will draw additional guests to see this incredible piece of evidence for biblical history. - Israel Antiquities Authority Artifacts Room
Over 100 authentic artifacts from Israel’s Second Temple period (approximately 516 BC–AD 70) will be on display in a special room (currently unfinished) in our upcoming first-century Jerusalem model building. These artifacts will provide further context to the model and give guests an opportunity to see items made and used in Israel during the time the model depicts.
Creation Museum Expansion
Forecast Budget: $4,500,000
The next phase in the development of the gospel-proclaiming Creation Museum expands and opens primary gathering areas in preparation for our future Children’s Interactive Experience. This expansion will ease congestion and prepare the museum for a new engaging, interactive area for children and their parents, where they will be able to touch and interact with certain exhibits in a way that enhances their understanding of science and the gospel. This expansion includes:
- Repurposing of Former Dining Area & Noah’s Café
With the development of a new restaurant (currently under construction) and the moving of our offices, we are excited to use the current restaurant and office space at the museum to expand. This will ease congestion in certain areas and allow more space for our future Children’s Interactive Experience. - Dragon Hall Bookstore Update
Our Dragon Hall Bookstore will be updated to give it a more open floorplan that will better accommodate guests. This update will also expand the area in the museum’s main hall, reducing congestion around our popular Planetarium and 4D Special Effects Theater, and creating a direct entrance for the future children’s area. - Children’s Interactive Experience
Our vision is for children and their parents to get “hands-on” with God’s creation as they explore science from a biblical worldview. We’re also envisioning an incredibly immersive gospel presentation designed to engage children. This project will provide for the research, design, and plan development of this future Children’s Interactive Experience in AiG’s former office space at the museum.

What type of receipt will I receive?
You will receive a receipt at the mailing address and email address you specify. If you are donating from outside the US, we may not be able to provide you an income-tax receipt for this donation.
Are gifts tax deductible?
All gifts to Answers in Genesis, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our federal tax ID number is 33-0596423. Gifts given to a specific program will be used for that program unless we receive more contributions than can wisely be used for that program.
